This is just a reminder that the deadline for Yes, Of Course You Can Pair Garlic With That! is Monday, October 8th!
To participate in Yes, Of Course You Can Pair Garlic With That!, all you have to do is cook a dish that pairs garlic with something it’s not usually paired with. I have a really strong preference for seeing garlic/hazelnut dishes, but any unusual garlic pairing is fair game. Have fun with this!
The deadline is October 8, 2007 and I’ll post a round-up shortly thereafter.

Too late, today is Oct.8 and I have some great ideas of pairing garlic and hazelnuts. As a crust to fish, or pork, for instance. But… not time to try this week. What about garlic and marmalade?

I had such good intentions of participating! I made a garlic and hazelnut pesto, but my ingredients were past their prime and it did NOT work out the way I had planned.
I am so absurdly busy, I’m thinking of extending the deadline a week, since I don’t have time do a round-up tomorrow anyway. I hope you all do just send in entries a little late!
Lizet, I bet that garlic and marmalade would be terrific as a rub before grilling meat!

Hey Danielle, sorry but I won’t be able to participate because I am leaving for a 2+ weeks vacation starting next week. I am actually clearing out all the random stuff in my fridge now…and no more garlic in sight!
