I lived in Park Slope for over 20 years on 8th St. just up the block from the library and PS 39.

When my father in law first came to my house, he refused to visit while we were living in sin, he told my wife that he had met her mother in the library, they had gotten married in the church around the corner, and he had lived in the next block.

Wonderful area, I paid $35,000 for a brownstone in 1978 that is now on the tax rolls at over a million.
