By the way, I watched Alton Brown on a sausagemaking episode and he recommended storing meat-grinder parts in a big container of uncooked rice to wick away any moisture and avoid any rusting.  I thought that was good advice to file away in my brain.  Apparently a meat grinder is in my future.</description>
