I just tried roasting cauliflower for the first time this weekend, and it was excellent... I bet that finishing it as you describe above would have made even more special!

mr.ed - It sure is, and well worth the price.

Bron - Thank you! That really means a lot to me, coming from you.

Brilynn - I wish you did! It would be great. We could swap leftovers!

Kristen - Thank you!

nex0s - I'm glad he liked it, at least! We gave a ton of it to Martha, who you may know, so no soup this time. Maybe next year.

bonnie - Isn't it, though? Then again, I haven't seen many other little fishie dishes to compare it to.

moiety - Maybe chipotle, though that's hotter and even smokier.

Hey Danielle,

If urfa biber is not available to us, what would you suggest as an alternative in this recipe? Gourmetsleuth.com says red pepper flakes, but I'm not sure.

Curried cauliflower soup sounds delightful!

Just so you know, I make my own curry powder, as you do, and merely leave out the cumin :) I thought it looked very yum, and Stew, who loves curry, ate a whole bunch of it!

Another excellent thing to do with leftover curried cauliflower is puree it with a bit of broth and boiled potato to make soup. A little cream or yogurt added it doesn't hurt either.

Everything was MARVELOUS!!!!
