I just wanted to say, though, that my mom's recipe for banana bread strikes me as a bread, not a cake, due to texture and density. But then, I've never had a frosted muffin or an unfrosted cupcake. Those little cupcake-shaped unfrosted corn things we always just called cornbread. These are adorable.
